Friday we did a little running and grocery shopping for the weekend. We had to pick up corn, burgers, hot dogs, and a watermelon for the cookout that afternoon. By the time we got home and straightened the house partly, D's parents and our niece showed up. We had the cookout and then headed for the Zelienople fireworks. They had the Pittsburgh Philharmonic play prior to the fireworks. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our country's birthday! Saturday and Sunday were spent visiting and playing with our company. We also made fudge and chicken noodle soup. Today D is working from home because he had a tooth pulled last week and it didn't go so well so they put him on vicodin.
