Absolutely. I've taken a much more relaxed attitude to all of this in the past few years. Obviously, you probably need to do the laundry so that you can pack? Do that first. Then pack. Putz around the house cleaning after you're done with the rest but only if you really have the energy and time and WANT to. :)
