Thank goodness the news from the doctor was not terrible. This seems to be a recurring theme of occipital nerve damage. Only this time it isn't just one side, as it has been in the past...I am waiting for the Pain Clinic to call me back to see what they feel my next steps should be.
As the pain was radiating through my head from the top of my spine, I was afraid my brain stem injury was getting worse and would require a surgery that several surgeons have refused to do at my "young" age...they've told my I'd have to be at least 80 and unable to move before they'd try it. So I'm just glad it's the same-old same-old, even though I hate this and don't want anymore nerve injections.

Glad to hear you got some good news today. I hope you find something that helps and feel better soon. It does not sound like very much fun to have so much pain to deal with. You're doing a good job keeping your chin up!
